Day Tripping

The food is fabulous everywhere we go. The wine is cheap and never ending, the evenings are late. I'm not sure how much longer we can keep going!!! Today we had a "lie in" as the Brits say. Didn't wake up until 10:45am. Made it as far as the beach today. Beautifully hot. Showered and out to dinner with the gang that's left. Some of the family left Friday and more are leaving tomorrow. We headed out to a small village, Doukas, for a pig roast dinner - absolutely fabulous!!! Tomorrow morning Dave & I are heading out to the islands of Paxos and Antipaxos via sea plane. Should be fun. Dave's been there and raves about it. Until next time ...

I am totally jealous of your pig roast. I have been totally waiting for a 'real' one - not like that phony timeshare one we went to in Hawaii....

Glad the sun has come out. We had 2 of 3 days of glorious sun for the long weekend (today is raining, of course).

Cam and I are going to Mexico on June 8 for a week. 5* all inclusive. 5 more pounds, here I come! I don't care!!! I'm sure I'll come back covered in heat rash - the humidity is outrageous there right now. THAT's how desparate I am for a holiday!

Love ya - keep on having fun!

Shana :-)

I think I hate you right now. Sigh.

Shana you must be desperate to forget how miserable you were from the last heat rash ... Mexico in June ... you're crazy!!!

As for you Mich ... I know you love me !!! Wish you could be here too!!! The food has been wonderful. I have defintely gotten my fill of tzatziki and calamari, although you wouldn't believe the problem I've had finding roast potatoes. Too many damn British tourists here ... they keep serving "chips" (fries) with everything. I've actually gotten strange looks when I've asked for potatoes instead of chips. Very bizarre if you ask me.
