Yesterday at 4:30am PST my stepbrother Chris and his wife Gabe, with the help of two midwives, welcomed their baby girl to this world. All went well for mom and baby. A name is still being decided on ... for now they are "trying out" their first pick and will let everyone know in a day or so.
My stepdad David was SOOOO excited when I spoke with him yesterday. He was just finishing up work and about to head over to the house to meet his new, and first, grand-baby.
Today I'm about to head over to Rona for my last shift before we head out to the UK tomorrow. Will be flying back on the 14th. I'll try to post whenever possible to keep in touch ... you know the "travel" portion of this blog Shana!!! LOL
Speaking of Shana, the beotch, she's just returned from AZ long enough to make a couple of doctor's appointments and has turned around and taken off again to AZ. Cam I'm not sure how I'd feel if I were you?!?

The word 'SUCKER' comes to mind.... (in that tone & emphasis you know so well).... however, I KNOW you'd do the same in my shoes... 'sides - my return flight was only $93 taxes in!
I'm feeling sorry for you going from crappy winter weather to funeral mode (sniff sniff) - maybe the weather in the UK is a little better? Or does the volcano ash affect the weather patterns over there?
I realize now that I should have phoned you on my 3 day return... was a whirlwind. SORRY!
Cam is happy to have me leave I think.... I think he has grown used to bachelor life and I was interruping his routine. His mom told people I was returning home for my 'conjugal visit' Woo Hoo!
I'm telling you - this lifestyle makes for the BEST marriage!!! lol
It's a sad occasion, but maybe you can find a way to put some fun into it (in an appropriate fashion, of course).... Call me when you get home - I will definitely be home by the 19th but might be home sooner.
You know you'll get to read about my antics, as usual.
