Well we're heading out to the UK on May 2, returning May 14. Still no details on any service, but Martin & Tracey need to make their way from Corfu, Greece so they won't be there any earlier either.
A few more details - seems Tom had a heart attack while on the table as he was going into / starting his surgery. They brought him back, but he had another before expiring. Margaret and Keith were able to see him to say goodby. The hospital had him brought back up to his room. Margaret says he looked very peaceful.
Now the regrouping and change to her daily life. I can't image being alone after being married for over 60 years.
Everyone think good thoughts and will that Icelandic volcano into submission - no more ash otherwise we may not be able to fly out. Hopefully things will have calmed down in the 10days before we depart.

My condolences, Suzy and Dave. Yes, I believe he is in a better place also, however, I'm sure it isn't pleasant losing a parent under any circumstance.
I have heard some flights moving, so I'm sure in 10 days you'll be ok.
