Last day in Paradise

Our last full day in paradise.
Tuesday Jan 5 was my dad´s birthday.
Wednesday Dave & I rented a car and drove around the island in a VW Beetle Cabriolet.  Lots of fun.
Thursday we went on a Dune Buggy tour.  A tad windy so with my jacket and hood up all that was showing was my face with sunglasses. 
Today is our last day to soak up some sun.
Tomorrow we fly back to the UK.  The weather in the UK has not been good.  Lots of snow and colder than normal for them.  So far it looks like no new snow at Manchester Airport so we should be okay.  London-Heathrow appears to be closed today as those flights in/out have been cancelled.

Latest on Tom is he has some type of heart issue related to his angina (we think).  He´s not wanting to take his pills and is being ornery.  Still no surgery on his hip.  Not sure and this point with his heart acting up when that will be.  I´m just worried about the long wait and the impact on the hip.

Shana´s halfway through her chemo and is doing well.

Michelle P´s stepfather Ted had taken a turn for the worse and had to fly back from Palm Springs to be admitted to the hospital.  Michelle's flown to Palm Springs to help pack up the house there and drive the car back (with or for) her mom.  Our thoughts are with you Michelle.  Drive safely.
