Woo Hoo !!!

Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic here I come!!!

Well it's been a while but I've been doing nothing except work, work and work some more.
I stayed in YYC during the holiday season and worked while Dave went home to Hyde, UK for three weeks.

Old man winter set in early in YYC and doesn't seem to want to leave.  Last week he teased us with some more mild temperatures, we actually made it to the plus side and things were mostly melted, but Friday an Artic low decided to slide down and collide with some wet coast weather to give us another large snowfall with very cold temperatures.  Today it was -28 when I started the car but +7 when I returned home.

Less than 2 weeks to go now - Friday Feb 11 is my last day of work at CRA before I start my annual "LWIA" - leave with income averaging.  Add a few vacation days and I'll be off until Easter.  Can you see me doing a happy dance?!?!

I'll work here and there at Rona.  Thursday Feb 24 we head to warmer climates for 2 weeks.  I can't wait.  Not sure what I'll do when I'm back.  Shana has surgery coming up ... waiting for an exact date and Michelle hopefully will be back to work soon.  I'll head out to BC for a visit but unsure when and for how long.  Maybe head to Caliente with Shana for one last retreat before she heads back to work after her surgery. 

Sun and sand ... that's all I'm dreaming about ... I really dislike this cold crap!!!
