Well it seems like summer to me! It's been mid-upper 70's so far and no humidity like Houston. It's great, too bad with the time change and time of year the sun has fully set by 6pm.
For those who don't know, Arlington, TX is west of Dallas and south of the DFW airport - a suburb I suppose. The business area we're in is a little tired. Quite a mix of business ... pawnshops, bailbonds, Masonic Senior's Lodge, and used car dealerships; but only a short drive from our hotel - a lovely newer one.
The other day we were by the new Dallas Cowboys stadium, boy is it HUGE !!! I can't image being inside with 100,000 fans. We're near the Rangers ball stadium, only ball season is over, and if we had a whole day or weekend Six Flags Park is also down the road - the roller coasters looked FUN!!!
Haven't done much but work and shop. Shopping somewhat successful, but I'm trying to rein things in this time. The food hasn't been the seafood orgy that Houston was but we're planning a revisit of the local Pappadeaux's Seafood Kitchen tomorrow night to get a fill.
Nothing else too exciting from the road. Shana had her first chemo treatment yesterday and all went as well as could be expected. Check out her blog (link on my left side panel) if you haven't already. If nothing else she'll make you laugh.
