So I'm not sure if it's the gas they used during surgery, gas from pushing around my inards, or gas from eating again; but the combination has resulted in my entire midsection feeling like an active volcanic field .... like those in Hawaii or NZ where everything is bubbling, rumbling, and popping all over !!! LOL I swear I could actually feel my abdomen roll.
Good thing (or not?) the rolling and rumbling has scaled back however no "end results" (I did warn you at the start). It's funny to think about how everything in your life can be forgotten and you can become so focused on one little thing .... sure it's all cute when it's a baby we're talking about when we're adults come one ... besides it could be dangerous ... Mt. Vesuvius dangerous ... if things don't move along soon ... I don't want to blow a stitch or anything.
Elena ... thanks to you and Euguene for the care package you brought by Tuesday. Everything is very yummy. It was nice to be able to pop the lasagne into the oven last night for dinner and I could share with Dave so he wasn't on his own scrambling.
The pain hasn't been too bad, but my scale of 1-10 is about 10 times greater than average so it's skewed. I've been doing the drugs on a continual, seamless basis to ensure no spikes. Today will be a test as I'm weaning myself off, my supply is almost gone so what choice do I have. Sitting is still not particularly comfortable so I'm going to wind this up for now.
