Day by Day
Day by day, that's how we're coping.
On the evening of Monday January 21, Georgette decided she'd had enough and wanted to go home. And just like her daughter, once she's made up her mind about something she's wants it done and done now.
Tuesday arrangements were made, discussions were held, and instructions given. At 3:00pm we were on our way home. Luckily the roads were dry and clear and the weather decent for the drive back to Princeton from Penticton.
Geo's spirits are good. She gets a little weaker and more tired each day but she's comfortable and much happier being in her own home. We're into a routine and things are going well, all things considered. For now Geo's wishes are to remain at home until the end if possible rather than enter pallative care at the hospital.
The entire family wishes to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. All are appreciated and are comforting.
